Re-accreditation to ISO’s
Last year, we successfully obtained certification for IMS ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 within a remarkably short period after commencing our trading activities. We are delighted to announce that we have once again achieved reaccreditation this year.
The auditor was thoroughly impressed with our accomplishments. A significant amount of effort and dedication went into the development of policies and procedures, as well as demonstrating strict adherence to the established standards and supporting policies.
Jodie Martinelli-Oliver, our Operations Director, conveyed her appreciation saying, “The recertification acknowledges our dedication to ensuring excellence for the benefit of our clients and wider stakeholders. This could not have been achieved without the hard work of the team and assistance from our accreditation consultant Russ Poulter.”
IMS ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022, are internationally recognised standards for quality management and information security management systems (ISMS).
In addition to these two ISO accreditations, we have attained the prestigious Cyber Essentials Plus Certification last year, which is the highest level of accreditation awarded through a rigorous evaluation process.
Introducing our Dedicated Welfare Team
Earlier this year, we implemented a specialised welfare team led by our Head of Welfare, Becky Taylor. She is trained in Samaritan suicide prevention and has been working in the enforcement and welfare industry for almost 7 years. This dedicated team assists customers who may be facing financial difficulties and/or are vulnerable. Since its establishment, we have joined the Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG), a reputable non-profit organisation in the UK.
The MALG’s mission is to bring organisations together to improve the lives of individuals with debt issues. Our partnership with MALG reflects our commitment to prioritising fairness in our operations. By becoming a member of this esteemed group, we strive to improve our approach in finding a balance between efficient debt recovery for our clients and providing equitable treatment for our customers.
In addition, we have also introduced the Standard Financial Statement (SFS), which offers a universal income and expenditure statement and a set of spending guidelines to evaluate an individual’s affordability during times of financial hardship. This allows the Debt Advice sector, Creditors and ourselves to collaborate and achieve the best outcomes for individuals struggling with their finances. The SFS summarises a person’s income, expenses, and outstanding debts.
Proud supporter of the CCUA House of Lords Dinner
We were thrilled to have supported the prestigious CCUA House of Lords Dinner on 13th June. A big thank you to the Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) for hosting. It was a fabulous and memorable evening. It was lovely to meet up with so many friends from across the civil justice, credit and debt sectors. We were also privileged to meet the The Rt. Hon Ann Widdecombe, whose insightful and engaging speech was an absolute delight.
Doing Our Part for the Planet
At High Court Writ Recovery, we firmly believe that businesses have a responsibility to minimise their environmental impact. Sustainability plays a crucial role in our business operations. We understand that the paper and printing associated with our business can have significant ecological consequences. To counteract this, we have teamed up with Printreleaf to reforest the equivalent of our paper consumption and offset carbon emissions through tree planting, supporting reforestation and combating climate change.
